As a member of the S.P.A., you receive a monthly newsletter with all the events listed for all branches that you can choose to participate in. Here are just some of the future events that we have planned:
He will be performing solo hits as well as iconic Simon and Garfunkel songs such as “Bridge over Troubled Water'' and '' Sound of Silence”.
There is something for everyone with classic cars, cream tea, and a comedy show all included.
Come sailing along the Kennet and Avon Canal with us. We will then lunch at The Somerset Arms, in Semington, or bring a lovely picnic.
This great line-up features The Kast Off Kinks, which includes long-term members of the legendary band, The Kinks, such as original drummer Mick Avory and John Dalton on bass and vocals (60s and 70s).
Walk around Clatworthy Reservoir that is 5 miles of mainly flat ground. This will then be followed by a picnic or pub lunch!
This is a free entry event. St. Fagans is set over many acres of buildings relocated from all over Wales. We do suggest car share to reduce the cost of crossing Severn Bridge and parking.
This is an annual music festival with 3 different stages to suit all tastes. The Lipinski Band appear on Sunday!
We will meet at 11:00 a.m. at Tintinhull Gardens before visiting Treasurer’s House in Martock, Priest’s House in Muchelney, Langport.
This will be followed by a leisurely trip in a horse-drawn barge. We will then head for lunch at a local, well-known pub.
This particular night includes a buffet and disco.
We will bring and share lunch followed by a short stroll to the Prince of Wales pub, where the amazing Flatland Boogie Band will be playing.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. each day, there will be 3 walks of various distances and 1 shorter walk at 1.30 p.m.
This is a 2-day trip.
